1861-O Twenty Dollar, XF Details
Final Antebellum New Orleans Issue

1861-O $20 -- Damage -- PCGS Genuine. XF Details. Variety 1. The 1861-O is the final antebellum New Orleans gold issue, and a scarce issue since just 17,741 pieces were produced. The present caramel-gold example has a noticeable horizontal mark beneath the chin but is otherwise suitable for the XF level. The wingtips and hair show light wear but the overall sharpness is pleasing, and luster glimmers from the legends and other protected areas.(Registry values: N2998)
