1855-O G$1 XF45 PCGS. Variety 2. The reverse is lapped, as usual. The New Orleans Mint struck Type Two gold dollars only in 1855, producing 55,000 coins. This issue is scarce in Mint State but collectible in XF grades. This Choice XF coin displays bright yellow-gold surfaces with hints of luster in the protected portions of the fields. Wear is trivial.(Registry values: N991)
