Description
Superb Mint State 1888 Three Cent Nickel
1888 3CN MS67 PCGS. Both sides of this impeccably smooth example display supreme, satiny brilliance under a thin veil of speckled golden toning. The strike is well executed in all areas and is particularly sharp on the highpoints of the reverse. The 1888 is one of the best produced issues in the series and can be located without too much difficulty at the MS65 grade level. MS67s, of course, take on much greater significance. Population: 28 in 67, 1 finer (1/05).From the Bruce Scher #1 All-Time PCGS Registry Set.(#3757) (Registry values: N2998)
