1877-CC Liberty Head Twenty, AU53
Scarce in High Grade

1877-CC $20 AU53 PCGS. Variety 1-A. The 1877-CC is rarer in high grade than either of the two previous double eagles from this mint. The present AU example displays original olive-gold patina with remnants of luster in the fields. Light, scattered abrasions are consistent with the grade. An ideal coin for the collector who appreciates old-time coloration.(Registry values: N1793)
