Description

1922-D Peace Dollar, MS67
Attractive Highest-Graded Example

1922-D $1 MS67 NGC. The 1922-D issue produced over 15-million Peace dollars and is plentiful through Premium Gem grades, but Superb Gem examples such as this one are conditionally rare. Neither of the major services has certified a finer numeric grade, with PCGS showing no Plus-graded examples and NGC reporting just one piece at MS67+ and another at MS67 (6/25). A sharply struck and highly lustrous Peace dollar, this pristine Superb Gem features a fully brilliant obverse with a reverse that exhibits translucent veils of champagne drifting over the eagle. This remarkable coin presents an exceptional and infrequent opportunity for high-end type collectors.(Registry values: N7079)
