1798 Large Eagle Silver Dollar, VF35
B-15, BB-112, Wide Date
1798 $1 Large Eagle, Pointed 9, Wide Date, B-15, BB-112, R.3,
VF35 PCGS. Bowers Die State II. From a somewhat early state of
the dies. Star 13 is fully formed but visually not quite as robust
as the other obverse stars. Marks are at an absolute minimum on
this smooth and attractive Choice VF example. Sharp definition on
the motifs suggests an even finer grade, while pleasing
brownish-gray patina blankets both sides. A nice representative of
