VAM-7, Repunched Mintmark

1890-CC $1 GSA MS62 NGC. VAM-7. The mintmark is repunched, with the "first C doubled strongly on lower left inside of loop," per VAMworld.com. Lightly toned and lustrous with generally smooth fields and moderate marks on Liberty's face. The strike is bold. The box and certificate of GSA issue accompany the lot.
