Description

1891-CC $1 GSA MS61 NGC. CAC. VAM-3. A Top 100 Variety. Wheat-gold toning graces a majority of the obverse and portions of the reverse. Faint field fingerprint fragments are near the profile and eagle's head. VAM-3 is well-known as the "Spitting Eagle" variety, due to the die dot below the eagle's beak. The lot has a GSA box and certificate, which lacks a serial number.
