Description

1891-CC $1 GSA MS61 NGC. CAC. VAM-3. A Top 100 Variety. Delicate almond-gold patina denies full brilliance. The reverse is uncommonly unabraded, but the cheek displays wispy abrasions. The "Spitting Eagle" VAM is fairly prevalent among '91-CC GSA examples. The box and certificate of GSA issue accompany the lot, though the certificate lacks a serial number.
