B-3, Later Die State
1805 25C B-3, R.1, XF40 PCGS. Tompkins Die State 5/2.
Straight die cracks pass through stars 1 and 4, and a delicate
crack passes through much of STATES. This dark gray example shows
underlying wheat-gold surfaces with attractive eye appeal. A pair
of parallel linear marks near the T in UNITED merit passing
mention.Ex: Houston Signature (Heritage, 12/2013), lot 4594.
