1951 Franklin Half, MS67 Full Bell Lines
Rare So Well-Preserved
Registry Set Must-Have

1951 50C MS67 Full Bell Lines PCGS. The Franklin half dollar series is an exceedingly popular ambition for Registry collectors, as there are no absolute key dates, and most issues are available in high grade without breaking the bank. But conditionally rare exceptions exist, and the 1951 Philadelphia issue is such a coin. PCGS has seen only six submissions in MS67 Full Bell Lines and none finer. NGC shows two coins in this grade and none finer (6/16). The present example is an absolutely remarkable coin, showing luminous, frosty mint luster with a dusting of lavender-blue toning that shows wisps of gold and mint-green near the borders. Unlike many other high-grade Franklins, this Superb Gem lacks any small abrasions or die debris marks on the bell and cheek. The surfaces are beautiful, and the strike is sharp.(Registry values: N7079)
