1860 Wealth of the South AU55 NGC. Fuld-511/514mp, DeWitt
JCB-1860-7, Bertram-A860-210/213. Silver-plated tin. 20 mm.
Plain edge. The rare and popular Southern defiance token,
associated with the 1860 John C. Breckinridge presidential
campaign. The obverse features agricultural staples of the Southern
economy. The reverse depicts a cannon beneath a palmetto tree. A
lightly circulated example with unabraded fields and ample
silvering in the design recesses. Mildly granular near the UB in
SUBMISSION.
