1858-C $5 AU50 PCGS. Variety 2. This scarcer variety shows the mintmark positioned to the right under the fletching. The devices exhibit slight blending and typical design detail for a Charlotte Mint product. Orange-gold surfaces displays light marks and a planchet flaw to the right of the eagle's neck. A bit of luster glows around the borders.
