1916-D Mercury Dime, Good 4 CAC
Simply Excellent Surfaces

1916-D 10C Good 4 PCGS. CAC. There are many tremendous rarities throughout the Sherman Collection, but our consignor's keen eye for strong quality means that there are also collector-grade examples of important dates with incredibly original, problem-free surfaces. Such is the case with this 1916-D Mercury dime. The coin is blatantly unmarked and smoothly patinated in natural stone-gray and steel-blue patina. The rims are largely complete. The eye appeal is outstanding for the grade. We challenge collectors to find a more pleasing 1916-D in this grade. Housed in a Generation 3.0 green label holder. The 1916-D Mercury dime is listed among the 100 Greatest U.S. Coins.(Registry values: N1)
