Description

1876 Twenty Cent, Toned PR66
Eye-Catching Proof Type Coin

1876 20C PR66 PCGS. BF-1, R.4. The 1876 was the second year proofs were produced of the twenty cent piece, and only 1,150 coins were struck. This is a lovely, exquisitely preserved Premium Gem that has deep antique-gold, dark rose-brown, and sea-green toning over each side. The surfaces are mark-free and, of course, the strike details are razor-sharp. Very scarce in such a superior state of preservation and prohibitively rare any finer. Population: 18 in 66 (2 in 66+), 1 finer (10/24).
