Collectible Key Date Example
1804 25C B-1, R.3, VG10 NGC. Tompkins Die State 1/1. B-1 is
the more plentiful of the two 1804 quarter die marriages, ideal for
collectors seeking a single example of this key date. Smooth
lavender-gray and gunmetal surfaces characterize this piece in
combination with moderate wear. The lower reverse border is worn
weak, but the rims are otherwise largely complete. The surfaces are
problem free and appealing for the grade.From The John W. McCloskey Collection.
