Description
1803 Draped Bust Half, AU53
O-101, Large 3, Small Reverse Stars
1803 50C Large 3, Small Reverse Stars, 12 Arrows, O-101, T-1,
R.3, AU53 NGC. Tompkins Die State 2/3. A minimally marked,
cream-gray example of the Large 3 type with light golden-brown
color overall, and aqua patina near the margins. Slight high-point
wear is consistent with the AU53 grade level. Minor adjustment
marks are visible on the lower-right obverse, with die clashing
noted on the reverse. Liberty's hair is sharp and many of the
eagle's breast feathers above the shield remain intact, while the
beak and head show wear. Soft mint luster is strongest at the
