1923-S Nickel, MS65
Pleasing Patina

1923-S 5C MS65 NGC. Both sides show a mix of peach, green-gold, and blue hues, the last color dominating the reverse fields. This piece was struck with heavily eroded dies, the texture most visible at the field below the portrait's chin, but the reverse detail is strong for the date and conditions with only minor softness on the shoulder.(Registry values: N4719)
