Description

1900 Lafayette Dollar, MS66
Only Five Numerically Finer at PCGS

1900 $1 Lafayette Dollar MS66 PCGS. DuVall 2-C, showing the second S in STATES repunched east and a thick branch stem ending between the two 0s in the date. The variety is common but the condition is rare, with PCGS showing only five numerically finer than the present piece (11/14). Full luster is abundantly apparent under a layer of copper, dove-gray, mint, and pale aqua hues on each side of this splendid Premium Gem. This coin would propel its next owner immediately into the forefront of silver commemorative collectors, a piece that would never require upgrading and that would, in fact, be quite to difficult to upgrade. Population: 89 in 66 (5 in 66+), 5 finer (11/14).(Registry values: N4719)

Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# BYKW, PCGS# 9222, Greysheet# 10321)
