Description

1878-CC $1 MS63 Deep Mirror Prooflike PCGS. VAM-2A, R.5. The prominent die chip on Liberty's nostril attributes the variety, along with the doubling visible along the left sides of B, R, T in LIBERTY. This is an exuberant, lustrous, deeply mirrored example of this first-year CC-mint issue, and of course the rare VAM variety just provided added cachet to what is already an immensely appealing coin. Certified in a green-label holder.(Registry values: P4, N491)
