Description

1915-S 50C Panama-Pacific MS66 PCGS. CAC. Unlike other legislation, the Congressional Act dated January 16, 1915, specified that the Panama-Pacific coinage was to be struck at the San Francisco Mint. Most commemorative coinage bills specified the "Mints" of the United States. This Premium Gem is a remarkable example of the S-Mint Panama-Pacific coinage with frosty silver luster and pleasing peripheral greenish-gold toning. Some strike weakness is typical.(Registry values: N2998)
