1939 Jefferson Nickel, MS68 Five Full Steps
Reverse of 1940
1939 5C Reverse of 1940 MS68 Five Full Steps NGC. The
Reverse of 1940 shows the steps of Monticello clearly cut into the
design. The present coin displays excellent sharpness on these
steps, with just minor weakness at the bottom edge as usual. A hint
of champagne toning graces otherwise unaltered surfaces, with
pristine satin luster throughout. No major abrasions are seen.
