Description

1929-D Half Dollar, MS66+
Virtually Impossible to Improve

1929-D 50C MS66+ PCGS Secure. CAC. Ex: Duckor. A ring of pale gold encompasses both sides, leaving the satiny centers brilliant. A loupe reveals small marks hidden within the drapery, precluding an even finer grade assessment for this overtly high-end and well-struck Premium Gem half dollar. A touch of softness over the branch hand is normal. The 1929-D is a lower mintage issue with only 1 million coins produced. Survivors of this quality are very rare. Population: 76 in 66 (4 in 66+), 1 finer. CAC: 42% of submissions for this issue/grade passed. 25 in 66, 1 finer (11/17).
