Beautifully Toned, Heavy Die Clashing

1866 G$1 MS66 PCGS. This toned Premium Gem gold dollar features lovely shades of rose, golden-orange, and powder-blue color. Both sides show extensive clashing in the fields. Polish lines suggest the Mint made an attempt to diminish the clash marks, but they are still relatively bold. Fully struck and nearly unmarked. From a lowly mintage of 7,100 coins. Population: 9 in 66 (2 in 66+), 11 finer (3/19).(Registry values: N4719)
