Description
Eye-Catching 1859 Half Dime, PR67 Cameo
1859 H10C PR67 Cameo ICG. An outstanding half dime with thoroughly brilliant surfaces. The highly reflective fields create a sharp cameo contrast against the frosted devices. In The Complete Guide to Liberty Seated Half Dimes, Al Blythe states that he believes only 60 to 75 proofs have survived. NGC reports only two specimens in PR67 Cameo, with none finer, and the finest at PCGS is a single PR66 Cameo (6/08). The surfaces are virtually pristine save for a lint mark or two. An eye-catching piece with fully struck details, as one would expect from a proof. From The Aspen Collection.(Registry values: P4)
