Description

1917-S 10C MS67 PCGS. Although the 1917-S claims a substantial mintage of 27.3 million coins, Superb Gems are very rare with or without Full Bands. Softly frosted luster issues from the all-brilliant surfaces of this early branch-mint Mercury dime. The central hair strands are a touch soft, and the bands, while nearly fully separated, are insufficiently so for a formal designation. Nevertheless, an appealing Registry-quality example. Population: 3 in 67, 0 finer (11/18).
