Large Cent, Sheldon-3
1793 Chain 1C AMERICA PCGS Genuine. S-3, B-4, Low R.3. A
sharp example that has complete legends and substantial hair
detail. The obverse is evenly porous, and the reverse is evenly
granular. The obverse has been tooled, and portions (especially
near 5 o'clock) are faintly pinscratched from verdigris removal.
However, Chain cents with the details of the present coin are
