Circulated 1662 Oak Tree Twopence, VG8 PCGS
1662 2PENCE Oak Tree Twopence VG8 PCGS. 11.9 grains. Since the date has been lost to circulation, we cannot tell if this coin is an example of the Small 2 variety of the Large 2 variety. The central obverse is also weakly defined, but all other features on that side are free of excessive wear. Struck slightly off center with a wavy planchet, even slate-gray color, and a planchet flaw (as produced) at 9 o'clock on the obverse periphery.
