Low Business-Strike Mintage

1885 3CN MS63 NGC. Only 1,000 business-strike three cent nickels were struck in 1885, the smallest mintage of the series. This attractive Select specimen exhibits well-detailed design elements and lightly marked surfaces that show hints of lavender-gray and champagne-gold toning. Census: 2 in 63, 22 finer (1/14).(Registry values: N1793)
