Charles V gold Franc a Pied ND (1364-80), emission April 20, 1365, Ruler standing with sword and scepter/Floriated cross in quadrilobe, fleur de lis in angles, F-284, Dup-360, Ciani-462, 3.80 gm, lustrous, Choice UNC. Another exceptional piece that is nearly FDC. A more available type, but very scarce in this condition. Ex Armand Trampitsch, Paris, May 31-June 1 1988, lot 239.
