1885 Nickel, Lightly Toned MS65
In an Old Green Label Holder
1885 5C MS65 PCGS. A glowing Gem representative of this
famous Liberty nickel key, strongly struck overall with only slight
softness on a few of the obverse stars. Rich orange-rose patina
drapes most of each side. Finer examples are seldom seen. Housed in
an old green label holder. Population: 51 in 65 (4 in 65+), 38
finer (9/16).Ex: Central States Signature (Heritage, 4/2006), lot 914; FUN Signature (Heritage, 1/2010), lot 475.(Registry values: N2998)
