Lovely Eye Appeal
1875-S T$1 Type One Reverse MS64+ PCGS. CAC. Large S. The
diagnostic for the Type One Reverse is a berry under the eagle's
claw. A coruscating and unmarked near-Gem with exceptional eye
appeal. Dappled wheat-gold and cream-gray toning cedes to deeper
lavender hues on the left reverse margin. The strike is sharp
overall with minor incompleteness on Liberty head.Ex: FUN Signature (Heritage, 1/2014), lot 4951; FUN Signature (Heritage, 1/2022), lot 3528.
