Sharply Detailed Motifs
1882 T$1 PR68 Cameo NGC. Just two examples of the proof-only
1882 Trade dollar have received the PR68 Cameo grade from NGC, with
a single PR68 Ultra Cameo piece also certified (3/11). PCGS has
certified a single PR68 Cameo as their finest submission. The last
auction appearance of such a fine piece was six years ago when
American Numismatic Rarities offered the other PR68 Cameo NGC coin.
This amazing Superb Gem Cameo proof exhibits mostly brilliant
silver with excellent contrast between the deeply mirrored fields
and lustrous devices. Peripheral gold and iridescent toning adds to
its splendid eye appeal. The strike is especially bold with far
