Attractively Toned 1908 Gem Quarter Eagle
1908 $2 1/2 MS65 PCGS. A medley of yellow-gold, mint-green, and apricot patination enriches both sides of this Gem quarter eagle, and an attentive shrike leaves good definition on the design features, except for the usual weakness on the eagle's right (facing) shoulder. Lustrous surfaces are nicely preserved.(Registry values: N2998)Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 288Y, PCGS# 7939, Greysheet# 8603)
