Scarce 1787 Fugio Cent with 8 Pointed Stars on Label
1787 Fugio Cent AU 50 PCGS. 4 Cinquefoils, 8 Pointed Stars. Breen-1313, Newman 15-Y. The diagnostic die break that joins the sundial to the lower right base interrupts the otherwise smooth surfaces. Chocolate-brown, charcoal-brown, and sandy-brown colors lie swirled together over both sides. The ample remaining detail is suggestive of an above average strike.
