Very Fine 1794 Cent, Head of 1794 (S-65)
1794 1C Head of 1794 VF35 ANACS. S-65, R.1. Although Tom Reynolds suggests that this coin may have been cleaned and recolored long ago, the surfaces present well for the grade with an even, chocolate-brown sheen. Both sides are reasonably smooth with only a few old pinscratches. The impression is not perfectly centered, but all design elements are readily evident and the wear is evenly distributed. An aesthetically pleasing representative of this popular second-year Cent.From the Ohio Collection.
