1794 1C Head of 1794 XF40 ANACS. S-43, High R.2. This attractive XF representative is richly toned in medium brown shades with whispers of lighter patina over the raised features. There are no abrasions that are out of context with the assigned grade, and both sides retain ample evidence of a bold, well centered strike. Glossy undertones are suggestive of a possible cleaning at one time.From the John H. Crisp Collection.
