1979-S $1 Susan B. Anthony Dollar -- Struck on a Nickel Planchet
-- MS63 PCGS. The strike is slightly uncentered toward 8
o'clock, with a full rim along that perimeter while the opposite
border details run off the flan. Wrong planchet errors are a
popular subset of error types, with a simple explanation for how
they were accidentally created. One can easily imagine how this
Anthony dollar on a nickel planchet escaped the Mint without being
