Description

1911 Indian Head Quarter Eagle, MS64+
Appealing CAC Representative

1911 $2 1/2 MS64+ PCGS. CAC. The Denver issue of this year gets most of the attention in the Indian quarter eagle series, while the Philadelphia coin represented here is much more available. However, examples that are high-end for the grade remain challenging. This Plus designated and CAC endorsed example displays rich orange-gold color and has a sharp strike. A few small marks are present but none are distracting. We have seen many Choice examples of this date with inferior eye appeal.(Registry values: N2998)
