Not Sold Description
Splendidly Toned Partial Collar 1944 Dime
1944 10C Mercury Dime--Partial Collar on a Type One Planchet--MS62 PCGS. Beautifully toned in golden-brown colors, this World War Two Dime combines two separate mint errors. It never passed through the upset mill, thus the rims were not raised. When it was struck, the collar was partly obstructed, which gives this piece a broadstruck appearance. A prominent die line (as made) wanders through ONE and UNITED.Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 23KB, PCGS# 5050, Greysheet# 4519)
