Lustrous MS66 1913 Barber Quarter
1913 25C MS66 PCGS. Only 484,000 pieces were struck of the 1913, this mintage creating one of the premier absolute and condition rarities among later date Barber quarters. A mere two pieces have been so graded by PCGS with one coin finer, while NGC has certified none in MS66 with three finer (5/05). The surfaces of this piece show rich, velvety mint luster that gently rolls around each side as it is tilted beneath a light. Untoned, there are no reportable abrasions and the striking details are unusually strong in all areas.(#5664) (Registry values: N4719)Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 23ZU, PCGS# 5664, Greysheet# 5409)
