1856-C $2 1/2 XF40 PCGS. Variety 1. The 1856-C Liberty quarter eagle claims a mintage of 7,913 pieces, making the issue scarce-to-rare in all grades today. This pleasing XF example is lightly worn and lightly abraded, with still-lustrous orange and rose-gold surfaces. Housed in an old green label holder.
