Description
1883 5C MS65 PCGS. Fewer than 1.5 million of the "tombstone" nickels were struck in 1883, as that year saw the arrival of the Liberty design. The surfaces of this lovely Gem have only two spots of color, a small brick-red point to the right of the date and an area of peach to the left of the 5 on the reverse.(Registry values: N991)Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 22PE, PCGS# 3813, Greysheet# 2886)
