1883-O Ten Dollar, XF Details
Only 35-45 Pieces Believed Known

1883-O $10 -- Cleaning -- PCGS Genuine. XF Details. Variety 1. The 1883-O has the lowest mintage (800 pieces) of all New Orleans tens, and it also is the rarest O-mint ten with only 35-45 pieces estimated known in all grades. The surfaces of this coin have a lackluster appearance from an old cleaning, but lack the brightness usually seen on cleaned coins. A diagonal mark on the cheek of Liberty and another by star 4 serve to identify this rarity.
