1899-O $10 MS63 PCGS. CAC. Winter-1. Ex: The Blue Hill Collection. The flag of the 1 is doubled and a diagonal line crosses several vertical stripes in the lower part of the shield on this variety. This sharply detailed Select Mint State 1899-O eagle features brilliant and highly lustrous orange-gold surfaces that show only a few scattered marks on each side to limit the grade. Aside from a single remarkable MS68+ PCGS example, the finest at that grading service are only one grade point better than this important example. Population: 21 in 63 (1 in 63+), 7 finer. CAC: 10 in 63, 4 finer (12/24).(Registry values: N2998)
