Description
1875-CC Double Eagle, MS62
Rarely Seen Finer
1875-CC $20 MS62 NGC. Winter 2-B. The 1875-CC is one of the
most available Type Two Carson City issues in the series, with
low-end Mint State pieces being accessible with some patience for
the branch mint type purposes. This MS62 coin is at the top end of
the grade range typically seen. NGC reports only 29 pieces
numerically finer (12/24), which are rare and out of reach for many
collectors. This coin displays frosty orange-gold mint luster
throughout luminous fields and boldly struck design elements.
Moderate abrasions in the obverse fields determine the numeric
grade from NGC.(Registry values: N4719)Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 26AT, PCGS# 8974, Greysheet# 9922)
