   Description
AU 1943 Lincoln Cent
Struck on a Silver Dime Planchet

 1943 1C Lincoln Cent -- Struck on a Dime Planchet -- AU50
ANACS. 1943 is the most famous date of the Lincoln series for
off-metal mint errors. Though the 1943 bronze cent gets all the
numismatic headlines, cents struck on silver dime planchets are
also especially popular with this date. The present lightly
circulated example has rich golden-gray toning and shows the
expected softness of strike on the O in ONE and the obverse
periphery.
