Description
1922 No D Strong Reverse VF 35 PCGS. This Die Pair Two variant is far and away the most desirable and really only legitimate "1922 Plain" issue. The diagnostic features that must be present are: R in LIBERTY is fuzzy, the last 2 in the date has a flattened tail, the second T in TRUST is the strongest letter, the L in LIBERTY merges with the rim, and the field below the date is completely flat. The surfaces are an even brown color and exhibit a pleasant, smooth appearance.
