Description
1886 Morgan Dollar, PR66
Magnificently Toned
1886 $1 PR66 PCGS. When held at the proper angle, dusky
violet patina overall turns to iridescent ice-blue and sea-green
hues. This Premium Gem example, one of 886 Morgan dollar proofs
struck in 1886, exhibits predictably full device definition, and
the surfaces would undoubtedly merit a Cameo designation if not for
the toning. Housed in an old green label holder. Population: 11 in
66, 3 finer (11/15).(Registry values: N2998)Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 27ZF, PCGS# 7321, Greysheet# 7814)
Weight: 26.73 grams
