Description
Double Denomination Silver Washington Quarter Struck on a Roosevelt Dime
1964-? 25C Washington Quarter--Struck on a Struck Dime--MS63 NGC. The Quarter dies obliterated most of the undertype, but most letters in AMERICA from the Dime reverse are seen near the motto of the Quarter, and the lowest portion of the outline of Roosevelt's bust is visible on the eagle's wings and on the field near its head. This brilliant and lustrous example has pleasing preservation. The date on the Quarter is nearly complete, the mintmark area is not present since the piece is uncentered toward 1 o'clock. From The Bellaire Collection.
